Active Age Fitness Services

It takes about six weeks for our bodies to adapt to a new activity. The first goal for a new workout plan is to prepare bones, joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles for the strength and endurance demands soon to come.  The progression is gradual and focused on keeping you injury-free.
My specialty is training women 50+ to meet their needs of muscular and cardiovascular strength and capacity, as well as improved bone density, muscle mass, balance, agility and flexibility.
We would meet for a consultation - there is no charge for the consultation - to discuss your fitness goals, assess your strengths and weaknesses, and allow me to be goal specific in your training plan.


Basic Training Plan - One-on-One Personal Training - $400

Duration is six weeks. For the first 6-week sessions, the cost is $400. Subsequent 6-week sessions are 320. (Based on the standard rate of 80. per hour.) If you require additional one-on-one sessions during the week, the cost is 40 per 1hr/10min session.

Training Partners - Two-on-One Personal Training with a Friend – $480

Duration is six weeks. Training Partner sessions are more economical - and it can be fun to train with a friend or two. For the first 6-week sessions, the cost for Personal Training with a friend is $480 ($240 each) then $400 for the next 6-weeks.
Within the six weeks, there will be a gradual progression of load and intensity with lots of variety - based on your goals/needs, within your limits but still a challenge.
Meet with the Personal Trainer once per week and follow your individually designed plan during the week.

Introduction to Training – Three Personal Training Sessions - $150

Great Trial/Great Gift Idea/In-Home
The first session will include a consultation to find your personal exercise needs, goals and your health history. There will also be a brief assessment of your current fitness level. You will learn proper form, techniques and breathing methods to perform resistance and cardio exercises. We will conclude with a mini training session of a warm-up, cardio, resistance and flexibility component.
The second and third sessions will be focus on your specific fitness needs. I hope this will get you started on a great exercise regimen.
You may choose either in-home, One-on-One sessions or Two-on-One with a friend.
